College Distinctiveness

Dr. Anushka Vidhi Mahavidhyalaya has always come forward to help the needy and downtrodden. Keeping this in mind we launched a new scheme ‘Ahaar aapke dwaar’ wherein free food was distributed during the pandemic of COVID-19 to Corona Victim families. We were the first educational institution in Rajasthan to come up with such a noble initiative. In the first phase of the pandemic 5000 food packets were distributed free of cost to the families of Corona patients. In the second phase about 15,000 food packets were given to the families of the Corona affected.

DAVM has always stood as support for its students and staff. During this pandemic many people including some of the students have lost their beloved ones, Dr. Anushka Memorial Educational Society took to its social commitments and gave a full waiver of College fees to those students who lost their earning members due to COVID-19.

In our institution we lay stress on the overall development of the students. Our major thrust is to inculcate a feeling of confidence and good values among them by making them perform activities for the welfare of society and citizens.

Interestingly, here also DAVM was the first in Rajasthan and second in whole of India who came forward as flag bearers of road safety and discipline. Mrs Binita Thakur (IG ( police ) Udaipur range), Mr. Kailash Chandra Bishnoi (SP(police) Udaipur range) was the Chief Guest for Inauguration Ceremony.

Someone has truly said “Charity begins at home”, and living by it every year on 9th April in the fond remembrance of Dr. Anushka Surana a blood donation camp is organized. On this occasion free eye test, dental test and sugar test is also done. Students, faculty and all the members of DAVM actively donate blood for the needy.

281 units of blood were donated by the staff and students of DAVM in the year 2023-24.

As a Law college we know how important it is to improve the communication skills of our future lawyers along with creating awareness in the society against the social perils present in it. As part of their extra-curricular activity the students of DAVM organized a social play “Clean India”. The major objective of this play was to create awareness in society towards cleanliness. Another Nukkad Natak “Akhir Kab Tak” was performed to create awareness in society towards social injustice and violence against women.

We believe general awareness is very important for the overall growth of a student, keeping this in mind, every month we distribute “Anushka Times”, a magazine which accumulates all the information and necessary details on a monthly basis essential for cracking every competitive exam. More than 500 copies are distributed in various colleges and schools of Udaipur, free of cost.

Every year we make an Annual Report wherein we keep a record of all the activities of that particular year and try to analyze our shortcomings and improvements required to be made in the upcoming year.
